“The Soul of the ghost trees”

è una foto nata semplicemente da uno mio stato d’animo che sto provando in questo stranissimo periodo del quotidiano, avvolte mi fermo ad ascoltare quello che ho dentro, la felicità contrapposta alla rabbia, la tranquillità contrapposta alla frenesia del proprio essere e così via…..
Questa piccola pausa con me stesso, mi porta ad ottenere quella foto che reputo quasi sempre la mia immagine migliore, penso che non ci sia cosa più bella che vedere attraverso una propria foto un proprio sentimento.

is a picture conceived following a feeling of my soul.
Sometimes I need to have a break, to listen my emotions, my soul, which can help me to get the right picture.
Probably I fixed in this shot all that I had into my soul that day.

My first job

Quando l’amico “Ddonati.it” mi chiese un parere sulle foto del suo ultimo libro “Echinocactus”, con la delicatezza di un elefante gli dissi: “Eccetto alcune bellissime foto dell’amico Roberto S., bene ma non benissimo…….. anzi, proprio male! ” …il mio motto è: posso fare male ma preferisco dire quello che penso senza girarci troppo attorno
Con lo sguardo stranito esclamò: “Ma perchè??”
A quel punto, lasciando da parte l’animale che c’è in me 8-), gli mostrai che con poche azioni al computer si sarebbero potuti ottenere risultati decisamente superiori, anche con immagini non proprio eccellenti .
Mi rispose con una domanda: “ Mi dai una mano?”
Ecco il risultato del mio primo lavoro in post produzione, una realtà già disponibile in Italia e all’estero, tutto fatto per un semplice piacere ad un amico ….

When my friend “Ddonati.it” asked me an opinion about some pictures, from the draft of his new book “Echinocactus”, with the kindness of an elephant I said him: “ Except for some fantastic photos, nice but not very nice… or better, it’s bad!”.

Opening wide his eyes he said: “But…why??”

On the screen of my computer, I showed him some tricks to improve the quality of pictures.
His prompt reply was a question: “ Can you help me with the book’? “.

Elenora’s falcons

E’ stato emozionante poterlo osservare da vicino, il suo volo leggero e acrobatico rendeva interessante un cielo di un colore blu profondo.
Ho ancora ben incise nella mia mente tutte quelle emozioni che ho provato quel giorno di fine estate, il vento forte impattava con veemenza sulla mia faccia, i miei movimenti erano goffi e lenti……. o mio Dio! Ero a pochi centimetri da un precipizio di 30 metri è la senzazione di cadere era sempre più presente dentro di me, ma tutto questo è passato nel momento in cui i miei occhi hanno visto la sua sagoma nel cielo.
Sono felice di mostrarvi le mie emozioni provate nel vedere questo meraviglioso rapace.

I still remember that day, at the end of summer: a strong wind impacted with vehemence on my face, my movements were clumsy and slow, and… I stopped my walking few dozen of cm from a precipice 30 mt tall, but I forgot immediately the fear: his silhouette in the sky, his light and acrobatic fly…

I felt strong emotion observing Eleonora’s falcons, emotions I wants to share with you.

Osservare i faggi, in silenzio, abbassarsi, girarci attorno scrutando ogni possibile variazione di ripresa può aiutare a ritrovare quella vena artistica che ogni tanto si perde lungo il proprio cammino.

La competizione è nell’indole di ogni soggetto vivente, è la chiave della vita animale e vegetale la si so può constatare da ogni punto di vista: nelle socialità, nella vita sessuale, nello spirito della sopravvivenza, ect ect…..
Utilizzando un grandangolare come il 17-40 possiamo immaginare come è la vita vista con i loro occhi.
Ho scatto questa foto insieme al mio amico Roberto S.
